Job Description & Requirements Specialty : LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum Discipline : RN Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Position Overview Floor / Service Line : Women’s Services Unit : LDRP Specialty : L&D, Postpartum, Nursery Openings : 1 Shift : Varies (see position details) Guaranteed Hours : 36 / week Call : None Unit Snapshot Beds : 15 total 6 L&D 9 Postpartum Ratios : Per AWHONN standards Patient Population : Adults & Newborns Level of Care : LDRP with postpartum couplet care and Level I nursery Equipment : Omnicell, Baxter pumps, Masimo monitors, GE Centricity FHR monitoring Charting : Centricity / MEDHOST Required Qualifications 2 years recent Women’s Services experience Education : ASN or BSN Certifications : BLS NRP ACLS Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring Must-Have Skills Candidates must be comfortable with : SVD (no VBACs) Cesarean sections OB triage NSTs (Nonstress tests) Postpartum & nursery care Newborn care & procedures Hemorrhage management Fetal monitoring interventions Management of pre-eclampsia / eclampsia / hypertensive crisis Common Diagnoses / Treatments Antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum Pre-eclampsia C-sections & inductions Neonatal hyperbilirubinemia Floating Yes – may float to other departments based on census / needs.
