Description : You will

be a Quality Engineer for the Sensors Integration and Test Center

(SITC) team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of

products delivered to customers through electrical, optical, and

mechanical assembly, integration, and testing.

What You Will Be Doing :

As the Quality Engineer, you will be

responsible for applying your quality engineering expertise to

support the development and delivery of high-quality products. You

will work closely with integrated product teams to analyze quality

data, identify trends, and drive process improvements.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Reviewing documentation related to internal and

external manufacturing processes to ensure quality products are

delivered to customers

  • Analyzing and resolving process
  • issues, and leading corrective action meetings to identify trends

    and assist in problem resolution

  • Managing nonconforming
  • hardware reviews, including dispositioning, identifying

    containment, and implementing effective root cause and corrective

    action

  • Performing assessments and audits on processes
  • and procedures to ensure compliance with specifications,

    engineering drawings, procedures, and ISO-9001 / AS9100

    requirements

    Basic Qualifications :

  • STEM
  • degree at Bachelor level or above.

  • Ability to
  • obtain and maintain a secret clearance.

  • Ability
  • to interpret drawings and specifications for development of Quality

    standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection

    and test of manufactured products.

  • Experience
  • doing root cause analysis and corrective action planning.

  • Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office
  • applications : Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.

  • Effective interpersonal skills, including team
  • building and collaboration.

  • Effective
  • communication skills - written, oral, listening, and technical

    writing

    Desired Skills :

  • Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black belt
  • certifications.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing
  • processes and controls.

  • Experience with
  • automated processes and robotic

    technologies.

  • Knowledge and / or experience for working to the
  • requirements of Industry recognized Quality Systems such as

    International (ISO) and Aerospace (AS) regulations.

    Ability to Work Remotely :

    Onsite Full-time : The work associated with this position

    will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin

    supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide

    additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from

    standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be

    condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with

    additional time away from the office and are in addition to our

    Paid Time off benefits.

    Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
