Overview
Position : Assistant Swim Team Coach (Aquatics)
Role : You will work with the Head Swim Team Coach to write and lead Swim Team Group Workouts, help register new participants, and maintain the cleanliness and order of Aquatics Facilities in Life Time facilities.
Responsibilities
- Offer competitive swimmers the opportunity to master technique
- Run daily practices under the direction of the head coach
- Promote Life Time products, services and programs
- Collaborate with the Head Swim Team Coach to plan and lead group workouts
- Assist with registering new participants for the Swim Team
- Maintain cleanliness and order of aquatics facilities
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED1 year of swim coaching experienceMember of ASCAMember of USA SwimmingCPR / AED certification requiredLifeguard Certification within 60 days of hireMust complete all job specific requirements with Life Time EducationAbility to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periodsAbility to communicate effectively with guests about Life Time products and servicesAbility to swim 25 yards / meters without stoppingAbility to routinely bend to raise up to 20 lbs and occasionally more than 20 lbsPreferred Requirements
ASCA Level 1 Certification or higherPay
This is an hourly position with wages starting at $14.25 and up to $17.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
