What You'll Do

Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing guidance on State, county, and municipal projects.

Conduct crash analyses and develop data-driven safety recommendations.

Support and manage safety-focused programs and initiatives.

Facilitate stakeholder engagement and coordination.

Develop safety targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and summary reports.

Contribute to Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP) activities and implementation.

Review Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) assessments and performance plans.

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

3-5 years of traffic engineering design experience.

Preferred certifications : PE (Professional Engineer), AICP (Certified Planner), RSP (Road Safety Professional).

Strong knowledge of safety and design standards including :

NJ SHSP

Highway Safety Manual (HSM)

HSIP

Complete Streets

ADA Compliance

Safe System Approach

AASHTO, MUTCD, NACTO, NJDOT Design Manual

Additional Information

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $80,000 - $115,000 annually for this position and local market. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of skills, experience, education and competencies to the table that will be reflected in our offer.
