Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a General Packager for our client. This position is responsible for completing general pack shop orders by prioritizing tasks based on due dates and complexity, reading work orders or production schedules, and ensuring production and quality standards are consistently met with minimal scrap.What’s a Typical Day Like?Complete general pack shop orders.Prioritize shop orders by due date and complexity.Read work orders or production schedules to determine specifications, such as materials to be used or dimensions and tolerances.Ensure production and quality levels are met, generating minimal scrap.Complete all paperwork reporting of material and labor as required.Participate in the planning and implementation of Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) measures.Ensure full adherence to the 'Leader Standard Work' profile.Operate all equipment in a safe and effective manner.Provide training based on control plans to new and / or junior employees.Perform other duties as assigned by management.What Are the Requirements of the Job?High School Diploma or equivalent required.Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience.Knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses.Understanding of materials, production processes, quality control, and completion of training.Strong communication skills, including active listening and verbal communication.Basic computer skills.Visual acuity to examine or inspect material.Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, order jackets, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to read, understand, and comply with work directions, training manuals, safety rules, and standard operating procedures.Physical requirements include standing for sustained periods, making substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and / or fingers, frequently lifting and / or moving material weighing up to 50 lbs, and occasionally sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.Why Choose Kable Workforce Solutions?Weekly PayExclusive Access Opportunities to V.I.P.
