Senior Business Development Manager
As a Senior Business Development Manager , you will be responsible for identifying and securing new commercial and industrial accounts within a defined territory. You'll promote ABM's Onsite Facility Servicesincluding Cleaning, Environmental, Parking, and Engineeringby crafting tailored solutions that address client needs and drive value.
This role requires a strategic thinker and relationship builder who can collaborate with operations teams, lead the sales process, and maintain strong client partnerships while cross-selling ABM's full suite of services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute short- and long-term sales strategies to grow territory revenue.
- Prospect new business through cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
- Create and present customized proposals using ABM-branded materials.
- Conduct facility walk-throughs and assess current service programs.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure strategic and financial alignment.
- Negotiate contracts and manage client transitions to operations.
- Build a strong network of industry contacts, community partners, and prospective clients.
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and manage assigned budget.
- Support marketing campaigns and monitor competitive landscape.
- Provide training and share competitive intelligence as needed.
Qualifications
Education :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Experience :
5+ years of service sales experience, with a focus on cold calling and lead generation.Experience in facility services, janitorial, commercial real estate, or related fields preferred.Proven ability to write and present compelling proposals.Experience pricing labor within proposals is a plus.Skills & Attributes :
