Fortress Nutrition is hiring an experienced 1st Shift Production Supervisor to oversee daily production and personnel in Dry Powder division.
The right candidate will have previous experience in a leadership role, blending (preferably in the food and beverage industry), and a stable work history with previous employers. Must be able to be accountable to the company's need for overtime & weekend work as required.
This is a hands-on, working Supervisor role where you'll guide the team, keep operations running smoothly, and ensure products meet the highest food safety & quality standards.
Work Schedule : Standard Hours :
1st Shift (6 : 00am-2 : 30pm, Monday-Friday); OT and weekends as needed
What You'll Do
- Supervise and support production employees during the shift.
- Keep the Powder division / work area safe, clean, and compliant with food safety rules.
- Ensure daily production goals are met while maintaining product quality and food safety.
- Work side-by-side with team members to solve problems as they come up.
- Help train, motivate, and grow team members, as well as handle sensitive employee interactions, including disciplinaries, performance management, corrective action, separations, etc.
- Promote continuous improvement throughout the department and work area.
- Provide daily production reports to Director of Operations.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent4+ years of experience leading, overseeing, and directing a team (including performance management, coaching, training, disciplinaries, interviewing, etc.)Strong communication and organization skillsAbility to quickly and thoughtfully adjust priorities and adapt to changes in production as neededMust be able to proficiently read, write, and communicate in EnglishFlexibility to work overtime during the week, and weekends as neededPreferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a food / beverage manufacturing environment with understanding of food safety / quality programs such as GMPs, food safety, and sanitation standardsPrevious experience in a blending / batching role, understanding blending principles and basic shop mathPhysical Requirements :
