Job Description
Provide essential classroom and student support as a Substitute Paraprofessional in a school-based setting. This position is intended for those able to work on short notice and adapt quickly to different school environments, while supporting student learning and behavior.
Preferred Qualifications :
Prior work in academic, childcare, or youth support roles
Ability to follow lesson plans, routines, and behavioral expectations
Strong communication skills and flexibility across different grade levels
Familiarity with special education support practices is preferred
Dependable and responsive to fast-paced school needs
Key Responsibilities :
Assist individual students or small groups with instruction and daily tasks
Support teachers in implementing classroom procedures and goals
Monitor students during instructional and non-instructional periods
Reinforce academic material, routines, or behavior management strategies
Communicate effectively with instructional staff regarding student needs
This position supports student engagement, classroom continuity, and school operations when permanent staff are unavailable.
Hours are not guaranteed and shifts will be offered on an as-needed basis according to school needs.
