The 61st Street Service Corporation, provides administrative and clinical support staff for ColumbiaDoctors. This position will support ColumbiaDoctors, one of the largest multi-specialty practices in the Northeast. ColumbiaDoctors' practices comprise an experienced group of more than 2,800 physicians, surgeons, dentists, and nurses, offering more than 240 specialties and subspecialties.

Job Summary:

The Vascular Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a high-volume vascular lab.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform selected non-invasive testing procedures to evaluate arterial and venous circulation.
• Compile test results and create reports.
• Complete CPT portion of superbill for each patient.
• Direct patients into the lab exam rooms.
• Filing of patient charts and related documents as needed.
• Faxing and copying as needed.
• Order medical supplies as needed.
• Provide coverage for other vascular technologists.
• Assist in training new personnel.
• Assist in the training of new personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• High school graduate/GED or Associate's Degree equivalent combination of education and years of experience
• Minimum of six months experience as a Vascular Technologist.
• Bilingual with Spanish is an added plus.
• Certificate of completion from a diagnostic medical school. RVT certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with Allscripts or other Electronic Medical Record system

Hourly Rate Ranges: $46.39 - $62.50

Note: Our salary offers will fall within these ranges based on a variety of factors, inlcuding but not limited to experience, skill set, training and education.
