UC / Zoom phone engineer

Job Title : UC / Zoom Phone Engineer

Location : San Jose, CA (SJSU University campus 100% Onsite)

Duration : 6 Months Contratct to hire

Required skills :

• Advanced knowledge of VoIP communication systems technologies and ancillary systems including voice mail, video, call centers and queues, 911 administration, and analog systems.
• Knowledge of cloud-based VoIP services such as Zoom Voice, and similar systems.
• Expert ability to plan, design and integrate multiple systems and services.
• Ability to interpret and apply broad regulatory standards and technical specifications to assignments.
• Knowledge of network architecture, configuration, protocols, and interconnectivity requirements for internal / external information transmission.
• High-level of proficiency in administering standard software packages and vendor-specific applications.
• Proficiency in the configuration and deployment of 911 notification services with Cisco CUCM, Zoom, Zoom Voice or similar systems.
• Knowledge of 911 file formats, conventions and updating procedures, including implementation of Kari's Law and RAY BAUM'S Act.
• Knowledge of analog protocols and systems, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Ability to maintain a positive and reciprocal relationship with SJSU University Police Department, providing that organization a high level of customer service and customer support.
• Basic knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Possess effective delegation, organization, teamwork and communication skills.
