Codman Academy Girls Varsity Basketball Head Coach

Job Summary :

The Girls Varsity Basketball Head Coach is responsible for various aspects of the basketball program, such as recruiting within the school, training / participating in competitions, and coaching team members. The basketball Coach is required to abide by the MCSAO / MIAA rules and regulations as well as the rules and regulations set by the Codman Academy District Board and the athletic administration at Codman.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and / or Abilities Required) :

• 1-3 years of experience coaching basketball at the high school level (head coaching experience preferred).
• Must possess effective coaching knowledge, techniques and skills.
• Must possess knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport.
• Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, governing organizations (MCSAO), opponents, staff, parents, and students.
