Role Objective An experienced Coupa professional to provide strategic advisory, oversight, and subject matter expertise in support of Motorola Solutions’ Coupa implementation, specifically focusing on Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Supplier Information / Risk Management (SIM / CRA). The consultant will serve as a trusted advisor to the internal project team and implementation partner, ensuring the final solution :
- Reflects Coupa best practices.
- Aligns with Motorola Solutions’ business objectives, governance standards, and operational needs.
- Drives high user and supplier adoption. 2. Main Responsibilities & Scope of Services Scope Area Key Activities Project Oversight & Strategic Guidance Serve as a subject matter expert, offering best-practice guidance on Coupa configurations, integrations, and process design. Review and challenge key design decisions, ensuring long-term scalability and alignment with procurement transformation goals. Change Management & Adoption Support Advise on change readiness strategy, training materials, and post-go-live support planning to maximize internal user adoption. Supplier Enablement & Communication Provide expert counsel on the end-to-end supplier enablement strategy (onboarding, catalog management, data migration), ensuring an efficient and positive supplier experience. Quality Assurance & Go-Live Readiness Lead readiness reviews, assessing the solution's stability, security, and completeness. Ensure all governance, data, and functional requirements are met prior to Go-Live. Collaboration Work closely with the implementation partner, internal business process owners, and IT teams to resolve complex configuration / integration challenges. 3. Required Experience & Must-Have Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on Coupa implementation experience across large, complex organizations.
- Expert-level proficiency in Coupa Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Supplier Information Management / Contract Risk Assessment (SIM / CRA) modules.
- Demonstrated advisory experience for large, global organizations during enterprise-level Coupa deployments.
- Deep expertise in procurement transformation, best practices in supplier enablement, catalog management, and spend governance.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and thought leadership skills with a proven ability to influence strategic decisions.
- Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship. 4. Technical Proficiency
- Coupa : Expert Level (Required)
- Other Procurement Tools : Familiarity with other P2P or Sourcing tools is a plus. 5. Collaboration & Reporting
- Reports To : Procurement Enablement Leader
- Team Collaboration : Internal business process owners / functional leads, External Coupa implementation partner, IT integration and data teams. 6. Logistics & Work Requirements
- Location : Must be physically based in Chicago, IL.
- Work Arrangement : Flexible Hybrid (On-site required at Monroe or Schaumburg office as needed)
