Corporate & Estate Planning Paralegal

Located in Salt Lake City, UT, the position requires onsite presence and focuses on delivering personalized legal solutions, ensuring holistic client and asset management. As a pivotal team member, you'll engage in drafting intricate legal documents, managing client interactions, and supporting attorneys in a fast-paced setting.

Salary : $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Provide comprehensive support to attorneys in handling client cases and preparations.
  • Draft and manage legal entities including LLCs, LPs, and Corporations.
  • Assist in composing basic to complex trusts, enhancing client wealth management strategies.
  • Prepare, review, and edit correspondence, legal documents, and contracts ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Handle deeds for transferring real property to ascertain legality and correctness.
  • Maintain and organize detailed client asset information for accessibility and efficiency.
  • Facilitate effective communication with clients and other professional advisors, building robust professional relationships.

Minimum Position Qualifications :

  • At least 1 year of explicit experience in corporate and estate planning.
  • A background with 4-6 years of paralegal experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools like Excel and PowerPoint, and Adobe Suite.
  • Demonstrated capabilities in written and verbal communication.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and substantial organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • 4-year degree in a related field.
  • Advanced experience with legal software applications, specifically Clio.
  • Skills :

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and research legal documents.
  • Exceptional drafting skills tailored to legal requisites and client needs.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to interact with team members and clients.
  • Time management capabilities ensuring efficient workflow and deadline adherence.
  • Technological adeptness in managing electronic documents and legal databases.
