Schedule for the Orthodontic Assistant :
Monday : Administrative Day
Tuesday : 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM
Wednesday : 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM
Thursday : 7 : 00 PM - 4 : 00 PM
Fridays - Sunday : OFF
Responsibilities and Requirements of the Orthodontic Assistant :
Minimum of 2 years of orthodontic assisting experience preferred.
Assist the orthodontist chairside during all procedures, including bonding, debonding, wire changes, and adjustments.
Remove and replace archwires, place and remove orthodontic appliances, and prepare patients for bonding appointments.
Take orthodontic records, including CBCT imaging, 3-D intraoral scan and photos.
Chart detailed and accurate clinical notes for each appointment.
Educate patients and parents on appliance care, oral hygiene, and post-appointment instructions.
Perform sterilization and infection control procedures to maintain a safe and organized clinical environment.
Monitor and restock supplies to ensure smooth daily operations.
Provide excellent customer service and help create a warm, welcoming, and positive experience for every patient.
Assist with retainer checks and other follow-up appointments to support long-term patient care.
