Job description

ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Valparaiso, Indiana.

RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - ED

Job Details :

  • Work night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
  • Choose between 3x12 hour shifts (72 hours bi-weekly) or 4x12 hour shifts (96 hours bi-weekly)
  • Floating to other units required
  • No call requirements
  • Block scheduling not available
  • Maximum of 3 RTO (requested time off) days allowed
  • 13-week assignment duration
  • Emergency department nursing responsibilities
  • Work in 30-bed emergency unit with 1 : 4 patient ratio
  • Minimum 1 year emergency room experience required
  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC, ENPC (ENPC and TNCC must be obtained within one year if not currently held)
  • NRP certification preferred
  • Respiratory and ventilator experience preferred
  • Cerner EMR experience required
  • Navy blue scrubs required
  • Must be located greater than 50 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)
  • Must provide driver's license and permanent home address with submission
