Job Duties Prior Nephrology training is not required, we will teach the successful candidate the skills needed to work collaboratively / semi-independently with our providers. Our primary goal is to attract a candidate who enjoys working in a fast-paced inpatient / outpatient environment with a team-based approach. The department provides comprehensive Nephrology subspecialty services including : inpatient evaluation of acute kidney injury (AKI), critical care consultation, continuous dialysis, acute and chronic dialysis, outpatient management of kidney disease, and postoperative / long-term management of kidney transplant recipients. Primary responsibilities include :

• Assist inpatient providers with new consults and inpatient follow-ups for patients with acute kidney injury and electrolyte abnormalities
• Evaluate dialysis patients and write inpatient dialysis orders
• Assist with inpatient charting and documentation
