Job descriptionAbility to prepare a pattern and pull a tool or a part. Ability to assemble and install fabricated parts. Basic knowledge of plastic materials, adhesive and fasteners. Four year experience in fiberglass assembly and polyester resin / hand laminating. Good mechanical skills
Overview : Job Summary :
The Maintenance Department is currently seeking an experienced Fiberglass Technician. This position falls under our agreement with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, AFL-CIO, District Lodge No. 947 and would be subject to the terms of the contract.
Responsibilities : Job Duties Include :
- Hand laminating, working a chopper gun, and rolling out fiberglass materials.
- Vacuum forms and bonds plastics such as ABS, kydex, polycarb and plex.
- Ability to grind fiberglass with power hand tools both in shop and on Rides.
- Removing and repairing various materials and surfaces. Such as, install various seatbelts and change out upholstery.
- Fabricating parts from polyester resin and urethane foam.
