Snowflake Data Engineer

Role :  Snowflake Data Engineer

Location : San Jose, CA - 100% Onsite

Duration : 6 months

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work directly for our company on W2
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable data ingestion architectures and pipelines into Snowflake
• Proficiency in developing, maintaining, and optimizing ETL / ELT processes using Snowflake features like Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks
• Strong skills in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and UDFs for data manipulation within Snowflake
• Experience using Python for automation, data processing, and integration with Snowflake
• Must Have 7+ years of experience in Microsoft Power BI
• Experience with other cloud data warehousing platforms (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery) or data lake technologies
• Familiarity with data visualization and Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
• Knowledge of data governance and data catalog tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation)
• Experience with real-time data ingestion techniques and tools (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis)
• Understanding of data science or machine learning concepts and how data pipelines support them.
