Material Handler – 2nd Shift

Excellent Furst-to-Hire opportunity for a Material Handler to work on the 2nd shift at a leading Rockford steel company that has been in business in our community for over 80 years. The Material Handler is responsible for moving steel to staging areas manually and with a handheld overhead crane. The Material Handler position provides a lot of overtime – a great way to make extra money! The ideal candidate must be able to work mandatory overtime when needed.

Hours : 3 : 30pm until the work is done Monday-Friday with mandatory overtime

Pay : $17 / hour, with shift differential once hired in

Material Handler Duties :

• Operate overhead crane and mobile cranes
• Machine operation
• Move steel to staging areas manually and with a crane
• Load and unload trucks or railroad cars
