DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) is hiring an analyst to fill a Utility Energy Conservation Analyst 1 or 2 (UECA) position within the PUC's Bureau of Technical Utility Services (TUS). TUS UECA 1 and 2 staff work with senior UECA staff, other TUS and PUC staff, and TUS consultants to implement the requirements of various mandatory programs under state statutes and voluntary programs approved by the PUC. This position will receive training on PUC procedures, laws, orders, and energy regulation generally. The position will learn how to review and evaluate the filings and reports submitted by fixed utilities and the PUC's consultants. The position will also learn how to prepare written orders, reports, memos, and other documents for internal and external stakeholders.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
• Telework : Part-time work from home (telework) may be a potential feature of this position. The successful candidate is required to report to the headquarters worksite daily, unless the employee meets eligibility requirements and telework has been approved. Management may discontinue any telework arrangement at any time, for any reason. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office.
