Job descriptionJob Title : Registered Respiratory Therapist (Night Shift) Position Overview : We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team in a rural acute critical access hospital setting. Key Responsibilities : Provide comprehensive respiratory care for patients of all ages, operate and manage advanced respiratory equipment, perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and EKGs, manage ventilators and provide airway management for critical patients. Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (required). Vermont Respiratory Therapy license. Experience working with diverse patient populations across the lifespan. Familiarity with the equipment listed above is strongly preferred. Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Schedule : Full-time, Night Shift (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM, 12-hour shifts, 3 nights per week) Orientation will be the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month. Travelers may only be on assignment for no more than 26 weeks. The initial 13 and then one extension up to 13 weeks. They can reapply / return after one year away from NVRH. Please note, NVRH is located in a rural area without public transportation. Please make sure traveler has their own reliable transportation that is appropriate for winter conditions when arriving to NVRH.
