Position Overview :

As a Radiology / Limited X-Ray Technologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services. You will perform x-ray testing with an emphasis on patient care, employing your knowledge of anatomy and physiology while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities :

• Greet patients warmly and guide them through the care process.
• Ensure consistent communication regarding wait times and next steps.
• Provide solutions for patient concerns, ensuring timely responses to urgent situations.
• Conduct follow-up calls promptly to enhance patient experience.
• Support front desk operations with check-in / out procedures as needed.
• Document patient information accurately, including vital signs, medical histories, and current medications.
• Assist in patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision.
• Adhere to established clinical and regulatory procedures to ensure patient safety while preparing patients for imaging procedures.
• Perform quality control procedures to maintain high standards in radiology practices.
• Ensure equipment is functioning correctly and report any issues to management.
• Engage in continuous education to maintain and enhance your imaging skills.
• Uphold current licensure and certification for radiology equipment.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• State X-Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is a plus.
