Job Purpose :
Responsible for the organization’s safety program to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment. Manage all safety training for onboarding new hires and current employees to maintain local, national, and Customer required standards for a safe workplace. This position has the authority to administer stop work directives.
Duties and Responsibilities
o Maintain & improve at regular intervals, assign, lead / support, and track all company safety training including weekly, monthly, yearly, OSHA, First Aid / CPR, BBP, Lifts, Forklifts, and more. This includes notifying employees and supervisors / managers of upcoming expirations and frequent follow-up when overdue.
o Coordinate with Managers, enroll, and schedule safety training for new employees and employees needing recertification for safety training.
o Prepare and lead training for employees on safety topics, including but not limited to topics related to job positions, responsibilities for New Hires & Promotions, and monthly Technician safety.
