What You'll Do A Day in the Life of a Regional Director of Hospice Operations RN
As our Regional Director of Hospice Operations, you will assume full Administrative leadership and oversight for your assigned offices, serving as the strategic and operational cornerstone of the program. Your primary mission is to manage and oversee the daily operations of the hospice facilities, ensuring smooth functioning across all departments while championing a culture of compassionate and humane patient care. You will be directly responsible for developing and implementing organizational goals, strategic plans, and long-term objectives that fully support the hospice's mission. A critical part of your role is ensuring meticulous adherence to all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations, including Medicare / Medicaid and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards. You will actively assist in the hiring, mentoring, motivating, and supervision of staff, overseeing comprehensive development through orientation, in-service education, and performance evaluation. Furthermore, you will implement and oversee the Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs to maintain the highest standards of care. Your oversight extends to the budget, financial planning, and revenue generation, including monitoring key performance indicators and ensuring proper billing and coding. You will partner with the Corporate Compliance Officer to address any HIPAA or compliance issues, utilizing excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with both staff and referral sources.
What We're Looking For
Active Oklahoma RN license
4+ years of nursing experience , including 2+ years in hospice leadership
Knowledge of Medicare hospice guidelines
Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
Basic computer skills
Ability to obtain CPR certification within 60 days of hire

Schedule
This is a full-time, Monday-Friday (8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m.) position, with occasional flexibility based on operational needs.
