The Sonographer III assists physicians and / or advanced practice providers in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the ultrasound equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.

What We're Looking For :
- Education : 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Sonography Program; or CAAHEP-recognized Sonography Program, required.
- Experience : Minimum of one year of experience in vascular sonography, required.
- Licensure / Certification : Certified and registered by ARRT in Vascular Sonography or certified and registered by ARDMS in Vascular Technology or certified and registered by CCI in Vascular Specialist RT(S)(VS), or RDMS,RT(VS) or RDMS,RVT,VT, or RT(S)(RVS), RDMS,(RVS), required.
- Additional Skills (required) :
Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing
Possess good communication skillsCapability to function alone and work independently in diagnostic roomsHas working knowledge of various types of ultrasound equipmentAble to adapt to new and various situations and procedures according to age of patient servedHas ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his / her age specific needsBasic computer skillsWhat You'll Do :
