• Assignment Length : 13 weeks\n
• Shift : 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts / week)\n
• Hours per Week : 36\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary : $1610–$1730\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license – Tennessee or compact state\n
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification – required before first shift\n
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification – required before first shift\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in a Med / Surg nursing role\n
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills\n\nMed / Surg RN Responsibilities\n
• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and functional needs in a medical-surgical setting\n
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans for Med / Surg patients\n
• Supervise and mentor LPNs, CNAs, and new staff on the unit\n
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per hospital protocols\n
• Provide wound care, ventilator management, and respond to medical emergencies\n
• Accurately document all nursing care, interventions, and patient education in the EMR\n
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement initiatives\n
• Maintain patient and environmental safety, following infection control and hospital policies\n
