Assistant General Manager Requirements & Qualifications :
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant General Manager in a high-volume ($5M+ annual sales) upscale casual or fine dining restaurantProven ability to lead and develop staff in a fast-paced environmentStrong knowledge of food and beverage operations, financial performance, and service standardsCurrent ServSafe and Allergen CertificationsBachelor’s degree preferredMust Haves :
Experience managing restaurants with $5 million or more in annual revenueCollaborate closely with the General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operationsPartner with ownership to drive financial and operational goalsEnsure outstanding guest experiences, proactively addressing and resolving service issuesTrain, coach, and develop team members to foster a positive and high-performing work cultureAssistant General Manager Preferred Background & Skills :
Experience working in a waterfront or seasonal restaurant environmentFamiliarity with innovative and diverse menus, including sushi and seasonal cuisineStrong interpersonal and communication skills to inspire and engage staffAbility to adapt quickly, solve problems under pressure, and maintain a positive leadership presence
