Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications :
NEEDS TO HAVE BACHELORS IN ANY SUBJECT
- Graduation from an accredited practical / vocational nursing program.
- Current license as an LPN in the Commonwealth of PA.
- Preferably, at least THREE years of experience as an LPN.
- Genuine interest in working with individuals with physical and developmental disabilities.
- Possession of a current and valid PA driver's license, along with reliable transportation (may be required).
- Physical capability to comfortably exert up to 50lbs occasionally, and / or up to 20lbs frequently, and / or up to 10lbs continuously.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (Group Home Visiting Nurse) , you'll provide direct nursing care to individuals with developmental and physical disabilities. Your responsibilities will include traveling to our group homes, clinical assessments, monitoring acuity, teaching staff on residents care plan and medical needs, delivering medications to group homes, updating MAR and Treatment logs.
Earn $32 / hour + Enhanced Pay Eligible.
Essential Job Functions :
Visit group homes, deliver medications, update MARs and Treatment Logs, conduct nursing assessments on residents to identify for signs and symptoms of illness, and report findings to the nursing supervisor.Identify health issues and follow through to resolution, while documenting all actions.Review, transcribe, and administer physician's orders accurately.Collaborate with various healthcare professionals and specialists to coordinate care, while keeping the nursing supervisor informed.Provide health education to residents and their families.Conduct effective in-service training for staff to ensure compliance with protocols and procedures.Utilize the least restrictive approaches to behavior management and demonstrate knowledge of psychiatric emergencies.Respond effectively to emergency situations in a calm, constructive, and positive manner.Perform general nursing duties, including traveling to group homes as a visiting nurse, conduct quarterly physical assessments, and monthly breast exam.Benefits
