This role is responsible for providing financial analytics for internal customers including. He / she is responsible to independently complete analytics and articulately present them to customers. Work will be both recurring and ad-hoc as directed by the Supervisor and other Analysis management.
Qualifications Required :
- Bachelor's degree in Business or business related field
- One (1) to Three (3) years relevant professional experience
- Advanced skills with spreadsheets (Excel)
- Independent work style, highly motivated, takes ownership of project / work and a self-starter
- Ability torecommend process / job design improvements and seeks solutions
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good communication skills
Qualifications Preferred :
Knowledge of Healthcare (HMO)Database proficient (SQL, SAS, Tableau)Knowledge of Cognos Business Intelligence softwareQualifications
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :
Performs monthly Incurred But Not Reported (IBNR) liability exposurePerforms the monthly Risk Share calculationAssists in other operational improvement and implementation projectsPrepare and analyze the quarterly medical expense variance reportingPrepare regular and ad-hoc reporting and analysisAssist with analytical and data reporting support to internal customers such as Care Management, Claims and Provider partnershipsAssist with analytical and data reporting support forexternalentities such asstate agencies, commercial accounts, health centers and third party vendorsAnalyze financial impact of hospital and physician contractsAssist in the preparation and analysis of the annual medical budgetAssist in the development and maintenance of provider incentive systemsAssist in the preparation of work papers for external auditors and actuariesParticipate in the cross-functional team meetingsAssist in the preparation and analysis of the monthly financial closeAssist and maintain provider and hospital fee schedulesIdentify opportunities for improvement in the departmentOther duties as assignedCorporate Compliance Responsibility - As an essential function, responsible for complying with Neighborhood's Corporate Compliance Program, Standards of Business Conduct, applicable contracts, laws, rules and regulations, policies, and procedures as it applies to individual job duties, the department, and the Company.
