Structural Engineer

Selectek is hiring for a Structural Engineer in the Tallahassee, FL area.

Job description :

Engineering design and assist in managing projects for new industrial projects and additions to existing facilities.

Coordinate structural designs with other engineering disciplines as well as client requirements.

Document production.

Interface with vendor personnel and with the client’s personnel.

Required :

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

Familiarity with STAAD Pro or similar

General knowledge of AISC standards and AWS codes

Strong written and oral communication skills

Experience with structural analysis, documentation, construction drawings, steel fabrication drawing reviews.

Experience with concrete and foundation design

Ability to work using 3D models, like AutoCAD and Navisworks

Preferred :

Experience in commercial or industrial design work

TEKLA or RAM experience

EIT or above

Job Order Details :

The position will be a combination of project management and engineering design.

You will be asked to work with a project team to coordinate the structural designs with other engineering disciplines as well as client requirements, and you will be asked to direct the work of junior engineers and designers concerning document production. The position will require interface with vendor personnel and with the client’s personnel.

Pay range : $60,000 - $100,000 annual salary
