Main Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute account-specific strategies to grow at both the account and product category levels
- Develop account goals and business plans with retailers and distributor partners
- Manage and design programs to achieve case volume and dollar volume budgets
- Ability to cultivate relationships and collaboration with all levels of the account hierarchy
- Develop and execute strategies with retailers to grow business opportunities, i.e. new products, promotional planning, and merchandising
- Conduct regular reviews of business performance, promotion strategies, planograms
- Forecast, budget, and track account revenues and costs to deliver the annual plan
Qualifications :
- 7-10 years of professional Sales experience, including Headquarters calls.
- CVS, Walgreens, and Rite Aid Headquarter experience is highly preferred
- Beverage and DSD route to market experience is highly preferred
- A bachelor's degree or business-related field is preferred
- Track record of building strong business relationships with key customers
- Ability to effectively communicate with senior internal leadership
- Demonstrated skills in achieving sales, profitability, and budget goals
- Ability to effectively implement sales and marketing strategies
- Proactively monitoring early sales trends to adjust and correct course
- Strong revenue management experience (contracts, forecasting, promo analysis, etc.)
- Candidate should possess strong analytical skills, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving skills
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to interface and demonstrate leadership both internally and externally
- High-energy self-starter as well as a collaborative team player
- Proven ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally within company and the customer
- Preferred location is Chicago or East Coast for Candidates!
