Job descriptionPatient Demographics : Adults Patient Volume / Census : TBD Rounding : Included Phone Consults : Yes Case Mix : Interventional Radiology procedures including Arteriograms, CT-Fluoro Biopsies, Ablations, Embolization, Kyphoplasty, Gastro Placement, Pleurx Catheter Insertion, Nephrostomy Tube Insertion, Port Placements, Tunneled and Non-Tunneled Catheters, Dialysis Graft Declots, Biliary Drainages EMR System : TBD Office Equipment Available : TBD Specialty Backup Available : TBD Support Staff Available : RNs, Technologists Reason for Coverage : Backfill FTE Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Temporary Privileges Available : TBD Credentialing Timeline : TBD (Days to Credential not specified) Academic Medical Center Experience : Not Required Telehealth Experience : No Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered Additional Compensation : $500 flat rate for completion of hospital modules REQUIRED PROCEDURES Arteriograms CT-Fluoro Biopsies Ablations Embolization Kyphoplasty Gastrostomy Tube Placement Pleurx Catheter Insertion Nephrostomy Tube Insertion Port Placements Tunneled and Non-Tunneled Catheters Dialysis Graft Declots Biliary Drainages Licenses : Active South Carolina medical license Board : Board Eligible within 5 years DEA : Active DEA Certification required Certifications : TBD (e.g., BLS, ACLS preferred) Experience : Fellowship required; Interventional Radiology experience preferred Other Qualifications : Physicians Only Provide onsite Interventional Radiology services including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures Participate in after-hours call coverage as scheduled Collaborate with hospital staff and support personnel to ensure continuity of care Complete all hospital module requirements prior to assignment start Maintain compliance with all credentialing and privileging requirements
