The Systems Administrator will maintain and support all aspects of the hospital IT data center. This can have a wide-range networking equipment, servers, cabling, racks, and data backup and retention equipment. The Systems Administrator will install, support and maintain all enterprise server equipment, and plan for and respond to service outages and other problems. Others duties may include programming and helping support employees with any IT issues. The job requires on call work, and occasional weekends for any outages that may occur. The systems administrator will work with the senior systems administrator, network administrator, and other members of the IT staff.
Education :
Requires an Associate of Science degree or related work experience, with successful completion of a system administrator certification within the first year of employment.
Most possess expert knowledge in the fields of networking, security, server hardware and applications, as well as installation and support.
