What You’ll Do :
Provide direct nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions in an ambulatory settingTriage cardiac symptoms (e.g., chest pain, palpitations, shortness of breath) in-person and by phoneCollaborate with cardiologists, APRNs, PAs, and other specialists to develop care plansAdminister cardiac medications, vaccines, and treatmentsAssist with stress tests, EKGs, Holter monitor placement, and other cardiac proceduresPerform point-of-care testing and collect specimensManage lab and diagnostic follow-upsEducate patients on heart-healthy lifestyle, medication adherence, and chronic condition managementDocument assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMRMonitor patients for changes and escalate care as neededSupport safety protocols, infection prevention, and emergency responseParticipate in ongoing training related to cardiology care and EPIC updatesWho You Are :
Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferredRN license in NH, NLC state, or MA requiredBLS / CPR certification required1 year of nursing experience preferredExperience in cardiology, telemetry, or critical care a plusStrong cardiac assessment and clinical judgment skillsCalm under pressure and effective in fast-paced environmentsSkilled in patient education and interdisciplinary collaborationCompassionate, detail-oriented, and team-orientedProficient in EMR systems and Windows-based applicationsRN-BC, CCTM, or specialty certifications in cardiology or ambulatory care preferredWhy You’ll Love Us :
