PCU Registered Nurse Job Details Location : Greenwood, South Carolina 29646 Assignment Length : 13 weeks Start Date : December 8, 2025 Shift : 3x12-hour day shifts (07 : 00 - 19 : 00) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1750-$1800 Employment Type : Travel Nurse, On-Site Patient Population : Adults and Geriatrics Weekend Requirement : Yes Orientation : 16 hours PCU RN Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina (current at time of submission) Minimum 1 year of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing experience BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Experience with EPIC charting system preferred Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1 : 4-5 Willingness to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions considered) Two supervisory references required Must live at least 50 miles from facility if applying as a travel nurse PCU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Monitor and manage cardiac drips, titrate vasoactive and insulin drips, and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias Care for patients with stepdown, neuro / stroke, and cardiac conditions Operate equipment such as external CPAP / BIPAP and high-flow nasal cannula Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic health record system Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and healthcare regulations Take the next step in your nursing career with this top travel nursing job in Greenwood, South Carolina.
