Job Description :

Work alongside Scientists, Research Associates and Lab Manager. This role will provide exposure to a pre-clinical biotechnology lab that specializes in next-generation sequencing, cell engineering, antibody therapeutics discovery, and a cutting-edge single cell microfluidic platform. The candidate must work independently as well as demonstrate flexibility and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities :

Overseeing daily shipping and receiving activities

Unpacking and labeling of incoming reagents and product

Log and check in materials received into order management software systems

Maintain, organize, and stock general lab consumable inventory weekly

Greet and escort laboratory vendors for lab coats, chemical supply, and medical waste

Maintain and change out chemical gas supplies within the laboratories

Assist with equipment installations as needed

Assist with lab expansion activities as needed

Reorganize lab space for optimal use

Maintain proper labeling on equipment assets

Create and maintain product inventory maps on fridges and freezers

Prepare lab spaces for equipment demos

Assist with general lab cleanliness and organization

Education and Experience :

High School Diploma / GED

1 year of laboratory experience is preferred

Prior experience with shipping / receiving is a plus

Skills and Knowledge :

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, experience with SAP or equivalent ERP system is a plus

Must exhibit professionalism and ability to serve as greeter and escort for site vendors for deliveries and services

Capable of multi-tasking and following standard operating procedures

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds & operate a pallet jack
