Color Manager

The Opportunity :

The Lab Manager / Color Engineer will work primarily within the new product development group preparing customer samples, color match products and producing color formulations within the organization's new start-of-the art facility.

Position Summary :

• Plan and coordinate all masterbatch activities.
• Review of all masterbatch formulations for production and development including compliance, reproducibility, and release criteria
• Prepare lab samples and production batches.
• Establish and maintain system of standards and targets for the lab.
• Maintain the color database in the color match software, maintain product standards, and maintain documentation to support masterbatch production.
• Conduct performance and quality tests as required.
• Interface with sales, customers, and other labs to ensure effective operations and color matching.
• Work on miscellaneous projects as directed by supervisor.
