Lead Low Voltage Technician

About the Role TEKsystems is seeking highly skilled and dependable Cabling Technicians to join a dynamic team on a high-profile industrial construction project. This is not your average buildout-we're talking large-scale, high-density environments where precision, professionalism, and performance are non-negotiable.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and route low-voltage cabling (CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, fiber optics) in large commercial / industrial environments
• Terminate, test, and troubleshoot network systems using tools such as cable testers, and network analyzers
• Lead and mentor a helper while maintaining high productivity with minimal supervision
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and site supervisors

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven ability to work independently and stay on task without constant oversight
• Experience working with and directing a helper
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Must have own basic tools (major tools provided)

• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00 / hr.
