C-1 Licensed Plumber Position Description

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed C-1 Plumbing Contractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial settings. This role requires a proactive individual capable of leading projects, supervising junior staff, and ensuring all work complies with local, state, and federal plumbing codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map out the layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.
• Install pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids.
• Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of metals and non-metals.
• Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems, including water heaters, boilers, and other appliances.
• Diagnose and repair issues such as leaks, clogs, or system malfunctions.
• Conduct pressure tests to identify leaks and ensure system integrity.
• Ensure all plumbing work adheres to local, state, and federal plumbing codes and safety regulations.
• Conduct inspections and system testing to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Provide training and mentorship to apprentice and journeyman plumbers.
• Coordinate with other construction team members to integrate plumbing with other building systems.
• Prepare and provide detailed cost estimates for clients.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including reports and documentation.
• Respond to emergency plumbing calls and provide timely solutions.
