Trusts & Estates Paralegal

Location :  New York, NY

Schedule :  Hybrid (2–3 days in-office)

Classification :  Non-Exempt

Compensation :  Up to $185,000 + comprehensive benefits

SourcePro Search is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented  Trusts & Estates Paralegal  to support a prestigious law firm’s New York-based team. This is an exciting opportunity for a T&E paralegal who enjoys complex estate administration and values working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role offers a hybrid schedule and exposure to sophisticated trusts and estates matters for high-net-worth clients.

What You’ll Do :

• Manage all aspects of  estate administration , including preparing and filing probate / administration petitions, collecting and valuing assets, and processing bequests
• Assist with the preparation of  estate planning documents  such as Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and Health Care Directives
• Prepare and file  federal and state estate tax returns , including IRS Form 706 and applicable state filings
• Form  LLCs , apply for  EINs , and prepare  Receipt and Release Agreements
• Review and assist with  fiduciary accountings  for estates and trusts
• Maintain  calendars and deadlines  for estate administration and planning matters
• Ensure efficient handling of filings with Surrogate’s Courts and other government agencies
