Structural Engineer (PE or SE)

Exciting opportunity for a Structural Engineer (PE or SE) in Chattanooga, TN with a well-established structural construction firm that has been serving the region for over 40 years! This is a hands-on position with excellent growth potential, working directly with superintendents, inspecting structural problems, drawing up engineered repair plans, and seeing those projects through to completion. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Structural Engineer position include :

• Must hold a current PE or SE license (in any state, TN preferred or able to obtain)
• Willingness to get dirty, crawl into buildings, and inspect homes and structures
• Draft structural repair drawings and provide stamped plans for residential and commercial projects
• Work closely with superintendents and contractors on job sites
• Investigate structural issues such as walls, beams, and footings and develop engineering solutions
• Interest in growing within the company and taking on greater responsibility over time
• Minimal experience required—on-the-job training provided by experienced leadership
• Flexible 40-hour Monday–Friday schedule with fieldwork and client interaction

Salary : $60,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Benefits : This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including a year-end bonus based on company profits typically ranging from 10-14% of salary.
