Job Summary :

Liberty Tire Recycling is looking for a Truck Driver Class A driver. As a Class A Driver, you will be transporting to landfills, customer sites, route driving, and other duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Perform routine inspections on assigned equipment and report defects to dispatch through the completion of DVIR's; maintain clean, safe equipment.
• Upholding a high standard of customer service.
• Ensuring the load is correctly placed and secure.
• Understand safe lifting techniques to load tires of all sizes (passenger vehicle, and truck tires).
• Lace passenger tires in a safe manner to reduce injury and optimize load.
• Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. on a routine basis and 75+ lbs. with assistance.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
• Maintain documents per DOT guidelines, ELD compliant.
• Attend monthly Transportation Safety Meetings.
• Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. on a routine basis and 75+ lbs. with assistance.

Skills and Abilities :

CDL Class A License required

22 years of age with clean driving record

Must have and maintain acceptable MVR in compliance with DOT

Must pass post-offer background, DOT physical and drug test

Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience or equivalent military experience

Education and Experience :

Prior experience in the tire recycling or manufacturing industry is a plus.

Compensation :

$28.00 hr. Paid bi-weekly.
