The Salvation Army, Syracuse Area Services is presently conducting a search for an Accountant to join our Team of Accounting Professionals within the Finance Department for this division of The Salvation Army. The role of an Accountant is to work with their assigned internal customers. You are assigned to specific Departments / Programs where they are responsible for managing the contracts awarded to specific programs. Review of newly awarded contracts, create and monitoring of budgets, General Ledger, billing and will work with Department Heads on the understanding and spend of each contract awarded to their Programs. This position will report directly to the Director of Finance.
Considered Full-Time Exempt Status, $60K-$62, 500, with access to our full benefit offerings at the completion of our initial employment period (90-days).
