Job Summary : The Warehouse Handler is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, and stack products to ensure accurate storage, shipping, and receiving operations. This role also involves fulfilling and relabeling customer orders, maintaining safety and productivity standards, and performing daily troubleshooting within shipping operations. The Warehouse Handler will occasionally move trailers using a yard hustler and must work effectively with all departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities : Operate forklifts safely to move, stack, and store products. Perform defensive receiving of product and manage put-away activities. Pick products from pick lists for SAP orders and perform audits of picked orders. Conduct cycle counts, recounts, and inventory audits. Repack and relabel products for inventory and outgoing orders. Audit product and paperwork after relabeling. Fill returnable bins and relocate products to appropriate warehouse locations. Assist drivers with trailer loading and rearrangement of product. Perform in-house transfers and audits in the return area. Maintain clean and organized work areas, including performing bin cleaning and inspections. Operate warehouse cleaning equipment such as sweepers and scrubbers. Troubleshoot and provide resolutions for daily warehouse and shipping activities. Required Skills : Minimum 1 year of forklift experience required (6 months acceptable if other qualifications are met). Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience preferred. Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. by hand. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer operations. Strong multitasking, organizational, and communication skills (both written and verbal). Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with all levels of management. Experience operating warehouse cleaning equipment (sweeper, scrubber) preferred. Knowledge of SAP order processing and warehouse transfers a plus. Education : High School Diploma or GED required.
