As a Hospital Laboratory Technologist, you will be an integral part of the team, reporting directly to the laboratory supervisor. Your role will include preparing slides for diagnostic procedures, ensuring accurate and high-quality histology processing, performing routine and special stains (GMS, AFB, PAS), assisting with immunohistochemistry and enzyme histochemistry, entering orders and billing info into the LISA system, labeling, signing out, and filing slides and blocks, maintaining equipment and preparing solutions, supporting the pathologist, and troubleshooting technical issues. Candidates earning quick interviews will have familiarity with histological procedures and a NYS CLT license. 🔬
