Description
We are seeking a qualified personal injury legal assistant to support our intake department, attorneys, and paralegals in meeting the needs of clients. You will handle all forms of office communication, from fielding calls and emails to scheduling various appointments. You will handle intakes from A-Z. At least 2 years of prior and recent experience in this capacity at a personal injury law firm is required. Responsibilities
Supporting clients by answering questions.
Conducting client interviews to make sure our firm is a good fit for the client.
Ordering Police Reports and sending out LORs.
Ordering medical and billing records and electronically filing in state and federal courts
Make calls and respond to emails, contact opposing attorney offices, take dictation, and advise the team of deadlines
Qualifications
Comfortable working with all Microsoft Office products
Candidates must have worked with legal software, case management, and docketing programs
Organizational and communication skills are necessary for this position
At least 1-2 years of previous experience in personal injury law firm performing administrative tasks
Able to meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment
