Overview

A leading global law firm is seeking a highly qualified mid-level to senior associate to join its Real Estate Joint Venture & Finance Practice Group. This group represents many of the most sophisticated players in the commercial real estate market, including major funds, institutional lenders, private equity sponsors, REITs, and large developers.

The ideal candidate will bring substantial experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Complex real estate financings (lender-side and/or borrower-side)
• Real estate joint ventures involving institutional or private equity partners
• Acquisitions & dispositions across various commercial real estate asset classes
• Drafting & negotiating JV agreements (LLC/LP agreements, preferred equity arrangements, waterfall structures)
• Structured finance or capital markets exposure (a plus, but not required)

The practice touches multiple asset classes, including:

Applicants with strong lender-side financing experience (syndicated loans, construction loans, bridge loans, mezzanine financing, intercreditor agreements) are especially encouraged to apply, even if JV exposure is lighter.
