Pay Rate : $40.00 / hr to $50.00 / hr

Birch Agency is actively seeking Special Education Teachers for the upcoming 20252026 school year in and around Joliet, Illinois . We have exciting opportunities available in elementary and middle school settings .

Position Details :

Job Type : Full-time, school year contract

Start Date : August 2025

Locations : Elementary and middle schools near Joliet, IL

Caseloads : Vary by assignment resource, self-contained, or inclusion classrooms available

Support : Ongoing support from Birch Agency and school-based teams

Requirements :

Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement

Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred)

Experience working with students with special needs is a plus

Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
