JOB SUMMARY
As a Level 3 Field Service Technician, you will lead teams servicing large-scale fire alarm and suppression systems for some of the world's most successful companies. Receive industry-leading training and become part of an elite team that values appreciation and excellence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Embodies the company mission to protect people, property, and the environment.
- Leads major service activities.
- Performs service on various OPS System brands and applications.
- Coordinates with customers to schedule service.
- Conducts inspections and tests on fire alarm and suppression systems per work instructions.
- Records inspection and test results electronically.
- Responds to emergency service requests promptly.
- Performs troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment replacements.
- Oversees OPS personnel during service activities.
- Reviews inspection results with customers.
- Provides training to customers on system functionality.
- Assists with installation and commissioning.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum five years of experience servicing electrical / mechanical systems in fire alarm or fire suppression industries.Experience reading blueprints required.Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred.NICET certification preferred.Experience with manufacturers like Kidde, Fenwal, Notifier, Fike, FCI preferred.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Experience with fire control panel programming software.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet use.Strong time management and organizational skills.Excellent communication skills.Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Self-motivated and autonomous work style.Effective team leadership skills.Customer service-oriented mindset.WORK ENVIRONMENT
Remote position with deployment from home to local sites.Company vehicle, tools, and equipment provided.Occasional on-call and overtime required.Up to 25% travel, including overnight stays.Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and access tight spaces required.BENEFITS & CULTURE
