LHH Recruitment is looking to fill a Staff Accountant job opportunity for this East Bay company located in Oakland, California. This position is hybrid and wil be in-office 3 days a week. The right candidate should have 3 years of accounting experience and be comfortable with the General Ledger. The position will report to the Finance Manager and be a part of small team and fast paced organization. The role will be responsible for working heavily in the General Ledger on the month-end close, account reconciliations, analysis, and assisting with other duties and projects as assigned

Responsibilities include :

• Responsible for working in the General Ledger
• Assist with the annual close process (month, quarter & year-end)
• Various account and bank reconciliations as well as analysis
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Prepare and analyze Budget versus Actual and Financial Statements
• Assist with the financial reporting
• Comfortable bring cross-trained (AP, AR, Payroll)
• Assist on projects as assigned

Qualifications :

Experience : 3 years of Accounting experience (Staff Accountant, General Ledger Accountant, Senior Accountant)

Compensation : $35 to $40
